Beymen Blender needed a way to convey its wide selection of denim products to consumers. How free, comfortable and happy can a denim makes us, is what we wanted to tell in our story. We chose to give the leading role in our story to inventive people who stand out for their style and mix and match denim in an authentic way. Kaan Bergsen was launching Petra Coffee which is now one of İstanbul’s finest. We accompanied a day of Kaan and his crew, in Petra Coffee. And drew attention to the denim on denim combinations which they felt best while working.
The aim was to emphasize that free, stylish and successful people, already place denim pieces in their stories daily. Our team was very small. Exactly 2 people accompanied Kaan Bergsen’s day. In order not to spoil the sincerity, one of our team member vocalised the video instead of a dubbing artist. As we presumed, people believed in our sincerity and it became one of the most watched videos.
In the other video, we were guests in Vogue Fashion Director Konca Aykan's life. The reason that we chose Konca is because she is a denim lover and one of the best person to reflect her love. We transferred the Konca’s way of expressing herself, 'dressing' in the video. These videos became the most important proof that social media accounts are not just a place for product visualization, but that a brand's soul can be told even with short editings.
