Souq, before becoming a store was a monthly pop-up bazaar with a certain theme. And brought together designers and workshop that fitted the theme. We suggested to develop a common theme with blank-mag and act together. At a time when craftsmen and hand-crafted special designs and pieces were on the rise, we decided that the "handmade" theme would be perfect for both Souq and blank-mag. With our joint motto "Homage to the Artisans" numerous designers and workshops took place in the Souq pop up bazaar. And the information and products of the artisans were given a space in blank-mag.
We shared designs and projects of artisans from blank-mag social media accounts for a month. We also took place in the Souq with our products representing blank-mag. We helped the artisans get the attention they deserve and became their voice. We increased awareness to Souq by sharing daily posts for a month from our digital accounts. And more importantly Souq gained followers.
